Review: World of Tomorrow

"We mustn't linger. It is easy to get lost in memories."
"Now is the envy of all the dead."

Oh god. Holy mother of god. WHAT A MOVIE! I read many reviews about it, and among the various expressions about a different aspect of the short, few words which I found familiar in all of them are 'perfection,' 'satisfaction,' and 'pleasure.' And I can't agree more. Can you remember the taste of the last tasty food which reminds you of all the words I mentioned above? Yeah, the movie is just like this, and it has something to do with remembering good past stuff. But let's not linger much. It's easy to lose in memories. So come back to the movie.

In the short, Emily 4 who comes from the future, meets her recent version Emily Prime when she is a kid. She gives her a digital tour of the future that how future is bleak and the world of tomorrow is not as beautiful as it we think it would be. In search of the meaning of life, we have lost living the life. people are putting their favorite past memories in a box so they can watch them again and again in the future, nobody is interested in the significant value of the present.

The movie is as simple as Emily Prime at the same time as complex as Emily 4. The film tries its best to open the eyes of those people who just don't live now and only worry about trivial things and dwell on petty details. It tells us that we should not pay much attention to the things which melt away and drift apart in the obscure traffic of time. We dwell only on what happened in the past or what will happen in the future. In between, we don't enjoy the present of the present.  We can't enjoy what we can't enjoy. We have daffodils, rainbow, sun, green and brown and blue and many other colors...still, we can't wiggle. We just worry.

I have seen many movies, but movies that I can count on my fingers have meant something special for me. This is one of them. I don’t learn in the classroom. Nobody can teach me. I can't get influence or inspire by anyone easily. If you want me to learn something, make, show or suggest me a good movie!! And what I learned from the movie?? Don't fall in love with a rock, or a pump, or a clone and just count the people dying in the sky looking like stars...ahh what a good feeling it iiiiiss!!

If there will be a small black box of digital consciousness, I will put this movie in it and will watch it more than 6,000 times!

P.S. in this new decade, I wish everyone to be a PRIME in the world full of CLONES!
